And all of a sudden it was 2019!

A lot has happened in the last couple years and we have totally dropped the ball on keeping you updated. At least here on this forum.

We have had a wedding and babies – well one baby but hopefully more to come. Terri Lynn and Renèe had the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been a part of and attended. Just about the whole town was there and agreed, I might add. Here’s a little collage that kind of summed up the day.

We were all definately riding the high of this magical day for a while, especially Renèe. We think she may have floated for close on 72 hours lol.

A few short months later, I(Karla) made my baby news public and in October of 2018 myself and my partner Amanda welcomed this little bundle of perfect!!

He’s by far my best production to date :-). So you see – we’ve been very busy. And all through out this we’ve been playing shows and recorded one new single called Brand New Day which is available on iTunes and Google Play

It definately is a brand new day; and a brand new life for us, The Secrets.

We are very excited for our next two performances. For a long time now we’ve made an effort to end our shows with a couple gospel songs. Mostly due to my strong background and our love of the intricate harmonies we get to explore. No matter where we perform, these songs seem to be the hits of the show. We have been listening to your requests and now have finally put together a full country gospel show.

Our first will be on March 30th at The Anglican Parish of the Ascension in Mount Pearl, NL and the second on April 4th in Terri and Renèe’s community of Sibleys Cove at the Bethel United Church. Both shows start at 7pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased right here under the shows section. They’re also available at the door. Here’s a cool write up from the Telegram about the shows. https://www.thetelegram.com/living/nl-country-trio-the-secrets-excited-about-performing-gospel-shows-291872/

Finally, we are dedicating these shows to our dear friend and publicist Lynn Horne who passed recently from a long and courageous battle with cancer. We’ll miss you forever and will never forget your infectious laugh xo
